Green Day Bio
Green Day is an American punk trio formed in 1987. The band members are Billie Joe Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Mike Dirnt (bass guitar, vocals), and Tré Cool (drums, percussion).
Green Day helps victims of Hurricane Katrina!
The hit single Boulevard of Broken Dreams paved the way for a donation to the American Red Cross when Green Day decided to donate the proceeds of iTunes revenue to the cause. Let’s hear it for Green Day whose punk rock beginnings have morphed into mainstream music and adult pop charts.
